Alex Hartel is an American director, producer, and writer. His career started at 20th Century Fox as a Production Assistant. Years of hard work and forming connections would eventually enable Hartel to create Pineapple Pictures, an independent production company Hartel co-founded with M.P. Murdock. Pineapple Pictures has grown to be a highly successful endeavor, with an expansive list of clients. Hartel’s ever-expanding list of projects includes some of his most recent films: “The 4th Sequence” (2019) (Director), “Hollywood Hacks” (2021) (Director), “Rorrim” (2019) (Producer), and “Facebot” (2019) (Producer). Hartel plans on transitioning the majority of his time working on feature films and television shows by 2024.

Murdock is a Swiss director born in Locarno, Ticino. He started his journey very early. At the age of 10, he began filming and editing short videos for passion, and at the age of 16, he got employed as a photographer and video maker. Three years later, he went to film school and graduated in 2016 as a director. During this period, he produced and directed several works, including the award-winning shorts "Window" (2015) and "Human Protocol" (2016). In 2017, he moved to the US and further refined his skills while co-founding Pineapple Pictures with Alex Hartel. In 2018, he wrote, produced, and directed his third movie, "Rorrim" (2019).
